I'm sure you've heard the phrase "The pen is mightier than the sword", you would be hard pressed not to. Indeed, that holds true, after all without the use of the pen absolutely nothing in life would ever get done. From complex storylines in novels to illustrated drawings, to signing a lease, the pen is a direct extension of your mind into the physical world. The artist is someone who has fallen in love with the process of coaxing the ideas and perspectives of the world he sees and brings them into the physical world to share with anyone who wants to access them. Whether it's a fresh take on another artist's work or something completely new the power of the pen is the primary instrument to get him there. Drawing with pencil has always been a happy place for me to live in. Then, drawing with pen and ink become a second love. Then after a few years of people requesting a tattoo from me I finally gave in, and I really fell in love with it. I love experimenting and discovering new mediums.
